Policy

Pest Daddy Inc. (“Pest Daddy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website located at pestdaddyinc.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit or interact with the Site, how we use it, and the choices available to you. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you choose to give us, such as when you:

  • Submit our contact form to request a quote or ask a question — this collects your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and any message you include.
  • Sign up for email tips and offers through the newsletter form on our homepage — this collects your email address.
  • Call or text the phone number listed on our Site.

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, schedule or provide services you request, and — if you’ve opted in — to send you pest control tips, service reminders, and offers. We do not use anything you submit through these forms for any purpose beyond what you signed up for, and we do not collect or store health-related or medical information about you or your household.

B. Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use our Site. GA4’s default configuration automatically collects information such as:

  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Site
  • Approximate (city/region-level) location, derived from IP address at the time of your visit — GA4 does not store your full IP address
  • Device, browser, and operating system type
  • Referral source (e.g., the search engine or site that brought you to us)

This information is aggregated and is not used by us to identify you personally. We have not enabled Google Signals or Google’s advertising/remarketing features on this property; if that changes in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

C. Phone Calls

We may use call-tracking technology to measure which marketing channels generate phone inquiries. This tells us that a call occurred and its general source, but does not otherwise change how any information you share with us over the phone is used or stored.

2. Cookies & Similar Technologies

GA4 uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. These cookies do not contain your name, email, or phone number. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; note that blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.

To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also learn more about how Google handles data from sites that use its services at Google’s Privacy & Terms page.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Google (for analytics) and other vendors who help us operate the Site, manage email communications, or route service inquiries — each bound to use the data only to perform services for us.
  • Legal requirements: If required to do so by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pest Daddy, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information under the new ownership.

4. Data Retention

Analytics data collected through GA4 is retained according to our Google Analytics account settings, generally between 2 and 14 months for event-level data, after which it is automatically deleted by Google. Information submitted through our contact form or newsletter signup (name, email, phone) is retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide requested services, or fulfill the communications you opted into, and is deleted or archived when no longer needed for those purposes.

5. Your Privacy Choices

  • Analytics opt-out: Use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on linked above, or adjust your browser’s cookie settings.
  • Email communications: Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also contact us directly to be removed from our list.
  • Do Not Track: Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, our Site does not currently respond to them differently.

6. California Privacy Rights

Depending on the volume of data we process, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), may give California residents certain rights regarding their personal information, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not knowingly “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

To make a request regarding your personal information, contact us using the information below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information submitted to us. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, such as Google, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page will indicate when the policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
